How to install
On your phone
Open underbonnet.app in your browser. Tap Install when it appears, or use Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone and iPad. Underbonnet then sits with your other apps.
On your computer
In Chrome or Edge, choose Install from the address bar or the page button below. On Mac Safari, use Share → Add to Dock. You get a window of its own, without browser chrome.
Common questions
- Do I download Underbonnet from the App Store or Google Play?
- No. Underbonnet installs from the website in your browser. There is no separate store listing — open underbonnet.app, then Install (or Add to Home Screen / Add to Dock, depending on your device).
- Is installing free?
- Yes. Installing costs nothing. The core workshop log stays free for one vehicle.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes for the jobs that matter in the garage — you can add, edit, and complete log entries without a connection. They sync when you are back online.
- Can I use it on more than one device?
- Yes. Sign in with the same email on each phone or computer and install there if you like. Your log lives on your account.
- What if I do not see an Install button?
- Some browsers show Install in the address bar or menu instead. On iPhone or iPad use Share → Add to Home Screen. On Mac Safari use Share → Add to Dock. You can also keep using Underbonnet in the browser without installing.
